Abdullah Faruk Gönüllü
Hi, I’m Faruk.
I build software, and these days I build most of it together with AI agents. I also help people and companies put agents to work in their own jobs.
How I got here
I started out as a systems engineer. Then I moved into software and spent years building web applications in JavaScript and TypeScript. I also make games.
Games taught me to care about small details: how something feels to use, and whether people understand it without a manual. I bring that to automation. A setup that nobody understands won’t last.
Why AI automation
In the last year, AI agents changed the way I work more than any tool before them. They write and test code, research questions, and take care of much of the admin around my projects. I decide what to build and check the result.
When I talk to friends and the people I work with, I see something else. Most of them use AI as a chat window: they ask a question, copy the answer, and paste it somewhere. That’s useful, but it’s the smallest part of what these tools can do. The bigger part is letting AI act: in your tools, on a schedule, with you approving what matters. That’s what I help with.
What I care about
- Setups that keep working after I leave.
- Plain explanations of what runs and why.
- Saying so when a job isn’t a good fit for AI.
